Dany’s Farm was recently pleased to accept a proposal to be the site of the US-Japan Energy Institute. The Institute was formed in 2024 to house the US and Japanese nuclear energy archives. It was founded by William F. Martin and Naomi Hirose.  The Institute has over 150 hours of video and over 15,000 pages of documents dedicated to the study of US and Japan nuclear energy cooperation. The gardens of Dany’s farm include a grove of Cherry Trees dedicated to US and Japanese leaders in the field of nuclear energy cooperation. As noted in our history, Dany’s Farm is dedicated to sponsor and support clean energy technologies of which nuclear energy is an important source.

The grove of Cherry Trees honors pioneers and leaders in US-Japan energy cooperation. The Institute will host training programs beginning in 2026. A dedication of the Institute was recently held in which Japanese officials from the Japanese Embassy in Washington participated.
